I picked up my tablet at home last night after getting back from a trip.

(Not just choosing the whole deck from one device or the other.)Īlso, a specific problem I had today: not being totally sure that my phone had synced my latest progress to Dropbox. I really wish there were a "smart sync" algorithm that could effectively merge progress on the same deck made from 2+ devices, so that all new cards made and all memorization/review progress on the deck from all the devices were integrated into the go-forward database. This is a big headache though and not very user-friendly. This creates big progress conflicts if I work on the same deck on both my devices, so I consciously use my phone for my newest deck, and my tablet to review historical decks. When I am in mainland China, I can lose Dropbox connection for several days. I have to make sure I don't accidentally work on the same deck on both devices (I sync on a deck-by-deck basis). While flying or in a foreign country, I frequently lose access to Internet.

I like studying and creating flashcards on both my smartphone and my tablet. I sometimes try the "other" frequently updated apps like Cram and Memrise (since I am obsessed with improving my Korean) and Flashcards Deluxe of course continues to be much, much better.Īnyway, I have the following issue often, as a frequent traveler: Hi, after all these years I am still a loyal, daily user I wish there were some way to donate or even some subscription so that longtime users could support the app and Ernie (I do recommend it often, so maybe doing some of my part?).
